Priest Lake Academy Tutorial in Smyrna began with the prayerful help of only a few Homeschool Families back in 2004. Today, parents still play a vital role at PLA. Parental involvement lends to a successful Homeschool environment and tutorial. Parents can help organize Prom, plan get-togethers, and develop fun field trips for the kids. We're centrally located for those who Homeschool in Murfreesboro, Homeschool in Smyrna, Homeschool in Nolensville, or who Homeschool in La Vergne. Over the years we have watched our PLA students grow up, graduate, go on to college or join the work force. The years go by quickly! We have seen elementary students grow into mature teens and through it all one of the most important things PLA has offered them is the opportunity to develop Christian Homeschool family friendships. The PLA network is a large community of parents who range from 1st time, 1st year Homeschoolers, to parents with 15 plus years experience with older children who have graduated high school and college. We are a K-12th grade, drop-off, Christian tutorial located in the Smyrna Church of Christ. Guided by a group of volunteer PLA parents known simply as "the Board" - We are an association of Homeschoolers for Homeschoolers!
At Priest Lake Academy we have TWO Tuition Free months- December & May.
Tuition is pre-paid for the entire school year upon Registration. Parents place each months payment in envelopes and turn in all the envelopes at registration.
All Registration materials can be downloaded from the main page. More detailed instructions are in the Registration Packet. Come Homeschool with us in Smyrna!
Classes meet on Fridays, August through May, and are not intended to teach all that students need to learn.
Providing a framework for academic achievement that parents can build on, classes provide hands-on instruction and an opportunity to participate in a group setting. Lesson plans are distributed at the beginning of the each quarter.
