Angie Hazzard

I am excited to be back at PLA and look forward to tutoring again this year.  We have homeschooled our children for the last 14 years.

I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing, as well as 20 years’ experience teaching and serving children and youth in church. I also have 9 years’ experience directing and tutoring in homeschool groups and communities. My husband of 22 years is Shelby Hazzard, and we have 4 children together. We are also a ministry family serving Parkway Baptist Church where Shelby is the Head Pastor. We are really pleased that PLA has made Parkway Baptist their home.

I have also taught Dancing for the last two years in Smyrna, and recently got certified as a personal trainer, nutrition counselor, and group fitness instructor.  I am excited to use this new knowledge in P.E., dance, and health class.
