Hope Bokoles

I’m thrilled to be back at PLA this year!  I love teaching, I love ALL children and PLA has been a blessing in my life and my family’s. I was born in Fairfax, VA and grew up in Chantilly, VA. I’ve also lived in Texas before moving to Smyrna, TN 16 years ago. I attended George Mason University in VA and studied Elementary Education. 

I’m married to the love of my life Gui and we will be celebrating 36 years of marriage this October! We have a son Anthony who is 24 and a daughter Analia who is 12. We are members of Lifepoint Church in Smyrna.  

I have over 11 years homeschooling experience as a parent and a teacher. I’ve had so many blessed opportunities to teach in my life starting as a young teen. I’ve taught swim lessons, teen girl mission groups, VBS 25 years, preschool 5 years, public school reading 2 years, homeschool tutorial 5 years( history and science) and Sunday School classes. I also planned and coordinated middle school and high school homeschool field trips and events for HEART for 8 years. 

The Lord has given me other opportunities on my life journey some of those are I owned and operated my own daycare for 3 years before moving to Texas, I have worked in a bank, for a defense government contractor, and in a pharmacy. I currently am a realtor at Keller Williams Realty. 

I’m very excited that I will be teaching high school Health & Personal Finance this year at PLA and look forward to getting to know my students and their families.
